what are some ideas for a sweet sixteen party when the theme is a winter wonderland theme?
i’m throwing my daughter a winter wonderland party. we live in new orleans and bearly get any snow. her bday is in january so i figured it would be nice and she agrees with me. we already know its an all white party with some sky blue in it. everyone else is wearing white but she’s gonna be in blue. so now were looking for decoration ideas. and do you think invitations on a white snowflake is cute?
get blue and white streamers and twist them together them hang them up.
get white and blue metallic sheer table cloths
put blue and ivory balloons tied close together on the tables
they also have balloons that have a metallic look to it or sparkly ones theyre pretty.
use those plastic or glass like wine or martini glasses and serve blueberry smoothies
when you have a blue table cloth put white napkins on it and vise versa
put on everytable a big container filled with hershey kisses in them because they are silver and on some tables put hugs in the big containers (hugs are blue) people should be allowed to eat them
and also in the vase/container take twigs from outside and spray paint them ivory and blue and then get sparkle spray paint and spray paint over them and then stick them in between the kisses and they will stay.
under the vase/container put candles or little lights that shine on the twigs to make them glimmer
(make sure the lights wherever you are having the party are dim so the tables stand out and look gorgeous)
instead of a red carpet get a dark blue carpet so it doesnt blend in and have it near the entrance so when people walk in the walk in on a blue carpet.
buy inexpensive snowflake type blue or white masks for the girls and when your daughter enters you could have her wear this mask

and put them on each table so each girl can have one get something different for the guys.
u could also play some christmas carols.
