How far should i let this go, special needs boy loves wearing skirts?
tanner is 6, going to main stream school in the special ed. class. they have dress codes to wear a school logo polo shirt and any khaki, blue, or black bottom. my son has a condition kernicterus. we don’t really know how much he understands, he loves his little sisters clothes. he prefers them to his own. i usually made him wear his ‘boy’ clothes and occasionally play with her in a game of dress up. he has become increasingly adamant about wearing the clothes, he went to the closet and got his dark blue school logo shirt he usually wears to school, and matched it with a bright pink skort. now what? growing pains in Tn.
I HAVE A SON WHO IS DISABLED SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL IT IS HARD TO KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW MUCH THEY KNOW AND OR UNDERSTAND IF HE IS IN COUNSELING OR ANY TYPE OF THERAPY I WOULD TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT I THINK IT WOULD REALLY GO ON A CASE TO CASE BASES BUT I WOULD NOT PUT HIM DOWN FOR IT BUT AT THE SAME TIME HE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT BOYS AND GIRLS DRESS DIFFERENT
