Lone Star
Beautiful Landscapes
Big open sky
They say things are bigger here,
i dont know why
a patchwork of cultures
a buffet of tastes
it’s all here to greet you
with a smiling face
from texas cowboys
to texas cheer
it’s the lone star state
and it’s all here

I love your use of words. I think you need more descriptive words and some capitalization. You used texas two times…it’s okay but I don’t advise it( unless you use it throughout). try to keep a rhythm by keeping the same number of syllables in every line that rhymes(even poems that do not rhyme need a rhythm. “it’s all here to greet you with a smiling face” sounds forced so see what you can do there. You start off with saying everything is big and what they have and then you just go straight to explaining everything in texas. You need more words and a proper end…perhaps ending it all off with lone star. Try putting more passion into it…okay hope this is helpful…I am no expert…lol
