How does a guy match shirts with plaid shorts?
So I thought I figured out what shirt goes with this pair of plaid shorts I wear, but apparently, “it doesn’t match”. Now, for the people out there, like me, who can’t match colors to save their lives (no i’m not color blind, just no sense of fashion…god that sounded so gay), HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT SHIRT COLOR TO WEAR WITH WHAT COLORED PLAID SHORTS?
here’s my rules when wearing plaid pants:
never wear plaid pants with patterned shirts (plaid, flannel, avoid stripes, they are hard to pull off w/ plaid) your safest best is to match a solid color shirt with a plaid short
never having matching color top and bottoms, you look like a walking wall of plaid…you know the color wheel in school…neutrals like black, gray, white, navy blue match with nearly any color…avoid loud colors like lime green, neon purple, bright yellow, and avoid orange…orange just sucks…
