Do you need to refrigerate English Plum Pudding once it is cooked?
Hi,
I cooked a microwavable English Plum Pudding and sealed the leftovers. I discovered my mother has always refrigerated leftovers whereas I thought it was treated more like cake than traditional pudding. Her concern what the fragile quality of the high fat content. (Its a Waitrose recipe so I assume it used suet)

Home made plum pudding should be kept in the fridge.
The one you buy( like “Cross and Blackwell’s”) are bulletproof.
They don’t need refrigeration and they last a few years( unopened).
