How Come My Toddler Always Gets Pink Eye When She Gets A Cold?
hi, my daughter is 2 years old. and i noticed from her last cold. and today. that she would get a cold. and then one eye will get really puffy underneath the part where ur dark circles are at. and be pink. it looks like pink eye. is it normal to get pink eye when u have a cold? then it goes away after a day or so.
it is called conjunctivitis.. and the reason is because babies and toddlers will wipe their nose and then their eyes, transfering the cold to the eye, which creates “pink eye”.. if you are actually refering to her flesh area under the actual eye , then it gets pink and puffy due to swollen nasal cavities from the mucus.. when she has a cold try saline and bulb suction to rid her of the mucus.. otherwise if it is actually pink eye then she will need to see a doctor, it is highly contagious
