How much clothing do I need to buy for my baby coming next month!?
I just realized I probably need more clothes, but I am not sure how much I actually need. I have 2 sleepers in newborn size. In 0-3 I have 1 sleeper and 2 onsie/pant sets. Should I get more newborn or just go straight to 0-3 month? They are telling me he is going to be between 6-7 pounds but that they’re estimates can be up to one pound off. I just don’t want to be caught with clothes thats way too big for him or too small. What worked for you? How many outfits in each size should I have? Help me! He will be here next month and I know I can’t get away with the little clothes I have.
Wow, you going to need
6-8 newborn sleepers (that’s all they wear at first)
4-6 newborn onsies
2-4 newborn stretch cotton pants
6-8 newborn socks
2-4 pairs of scratch mittens
1-2 nice outfits (or church outfits)
2-4 hats
Any extra things are great! I also suggest buying your clothes up to 12 months.
Your going to want all these things for 12 months in those amounts. The only thing you’ll need to increase are going outfits (probably 6 going outfits).
ETA: By newborn I means size 0-3 months you will only need half of the newborn stuff then 0-3 months clothing.
