Gymboree users!!! I need help determining a size for my son…?
I have bought tons of clothes there for my daughter. She is naturally small so I always have to go a size small for the bottoms. Now my son is the opposite. He is 8 months and has been wearing 6-12 months for awhile. I measured him and he is 27 inches long. I am trying to figure out what size top to get him. I am looking in the kid section, not the newborn. Right now he wears 6-12mos tops from old navy. But if I get him a onesie or a one piece outfit I have to get 12-18 mos cuz he is long in the torso. So my question is after this novel…. Do you think I should get 6-12mos top or 12-18mos. It is just summer clothes. I am doing it over the internet so thats why I’m asking…

DEFINATELY order a size up!
He won’t quit growing like that until he’s past his first birthday. And, if you buy him a 6-12 he’ll likely outgrow it before the season is over.
My son is the same way. I always buy everything a size bigger or I’m buying seasonal clothes TWICE!! Ouch! That also goes for winter coats…I bought two sizes up (accounting for winter dress like double layers and sweaters).
