What is the best way to get a bad smell of leather sandals?
I have a pair of leather sandals that I like and do not wear socks with them. Therefore, after I had for a while start to smell bad … Is there a clean way to prevent this from happening again? I have sandals with the exception of what happened, and do not want to just keep with to buy more. I tried spraying Febreeze on them, but that does not work. Thanks in advance for your answers.
Find a box with a lid and put the shoes smell in the box with an open container of activated charcoal in plastic, close the box and leave it for a few days. You can also use baking sodium, but does not work so well and so quickly absorb the odors of sweaty feet. As to avoid, first, to achieve the skin and breathing sweaty feet is being absorbed by the leather. The use of deodorant soap on your feet when you shower or foot powder or spray your feet before wearing leather shoes without socks.
