can anyone give me names of fun place to bring children under 5 besides polka dots gymboree and imajine that?
I am a nanny and need to find more fun places to bring the children besides these 3 and museums. Can anyone give me some more names of fun places that they can explore and have fun?

Where are you? You might get some specific places with that info.
Parks…either a traditional open space and swings and slides one or a nature park/sanctuary or arboretum. Also state parks and national parks in your area.
Out door fun…in Fall go to an orchard/farm, they have apple, scarecrow, harvest, and/or pumpkin festivals. Go out and plant bulbs.
Winter – go play in the snow if you have it and then come in a drink hot chocolate.
Spring – plant flowers. Go for long walks in the nature park/sanctuary or arboretum. Fly a kite.
Summer – popsicles and paddling pools or water tables. Shelling at a beach if nearby.
Children’s museums. Ask about joining as a member if you’ll go there frequently, you’ll get a better rate.
Bookstore or Library reading program. All public libraries have them and most bigger bookstores do too. Our favorite bookstore also sits by a lake, so we read, play in the children’s section, then feed the ducks.
Zoo or aquarium. Or find some place where wildlife is common, like ducks on a pond.
Find authentic restaurants that are kid friendly and introduce them to some new cuisine. Take this one slow.
Get a One Tank Trips book for your state for more ideas.
Put on your own music class by getting a basket or tote to fill with instruments and scarves. Over time our tote has come to include: scarves and ribbons for dancing, rhythm sticks, tambourine, egg shakers, triangles, jingle bells, cow bells, accordion, floor tom-tom drum, bongo drums, whistle, maraca, recorder, castanet, kazoo, harmonica, rainsticks, and stirring xylophone. Many things can come from the Dollar Tree or outlet toy stores.
Get the Arts & Crafts Busy Book by Trish Kuffner and put on your own art class projects. Hit a big sale at Michael’s or Walmart. Keep everything in a Sterilite/Rubbermaid multi drawer organizer.
