Places to take a baby?
I am going stir crazy! Being a stay at home mom is wonderful (and exhausting) but I am getting ancy to go out. My son is 8 months old.
We frequently go to the library and park (hooray for ducks!), and we also went on a free tour of the art galleries around town, and to the Desert Museum (kind of like a zoo, but with desert animals). What are some other ideas?
I know that there are things like Gymboree classes, but they are a ridiculous $60 a month. We are on a budget.
Look for free concerts in the area – we took our daughter to a fall festival with a bluegrass band recently, and she LOVED it! We also watched the local high school band practice and football practice, which she also enjoyed (and were also free!).
We also take her shopping – not to buy stuff, but there is a lot to be learned at the mall (it’s also free and warm inside!). She enjoys sniffing candles at the candle store, and looking at all of the fun Christmas decorations!
