Oahu is a good place for children to grow?
We hope to spend in Oahu – Hawaii – is considering a job offer. Is this a good place to children grow? The primary school children. What are good places to live? With good schools? Thanks 
I raised my 2 children on Oahu and I think it was a good place to raise a family. local people have strong family values, there is always a variety of activities to support the family every weekend week, and time, you can make outdoor activities throughout the year. I agree that the public school system is not the greatest. public school teachers for the most send their children to private schools, so that tells you something. My two children attended public schools and honestly disappointed me with their education. They are now adults and have done well throughout the world, so that their education was not terrible, but was not sure of first class either. Primary school is entirely correct, but around the middle school, things seem to be deteriorating. As for the racism thing goes, would be a mistake to say that's not all, but is not as bad as many people to believe. My kids have some "local / haole" tensions, but I also believe that diversity in Hawaii is one of the best things about living here. It's really an opportunity for their children to grow up with many people of different types. The areas I would consider life (the period immediately expensive very expensive), Kahala, Manoa, Hawaii Kai, Kailua, Kaneohe and Aiea. I hope you make the right decision for your family.
