What do you think of the name Zara for a baby girl?
My husband has thought of it randomly…but I’m not sure but I’m not against it as he has taken the time out to think of it….but I guess I was thinking more traditional girly names but haven’t settled on any yet plus we may have a boy and choosing a boys name is even harder!!! It sounds a little funky to me but maybe it’s a good name as I don’t know any zaras? Other than the clothes shop?
Our surname begins with t so can’t think of any nicknames…
He likes it being shorted to za (sounding like zar) it would transfer to an adult too.

I really like the name Zara – it’s a royal name, and maybe Zara Phillips’ upcoming wedding has put the name in your husband’s head.
It’s #75 in the UK so it’s obviously well known and fairly popular. There’s the English TV presenter Zara Martin; there’s another Zara you might know to see the name on a real person.
