If I post something on EBAY, what words in my ad comes up under ‘search’?
If someone searches for ‘baby clothes’ under the infant section…. does mine only come up under that search if I used those words in my headline…?
there are 2 types of searches…
the most popular searches for words in your [Item description], and there’s leeway for a word or 2 missing…other items that match most of that description, e.g., L’Oreal Feria Dark Iridescent Blonde might bring up L’Oreal Dark Blonde, L’Oreal Feria Iridescent Brown, Dark Golden Blonde and a few other permutations with most relevant listed first…
the spelling had better be good, because LOreal won’t search for L’Oreal…
the other type of Search is deeper and will bring up the [Titles], like above, and a Search can also bring up your [Item description] in addition to the title…
when you peruse a [List of Items] you will see the title but not the item description…
when you look deeper by selecting a particular [Item] you can read the [Item Description]
I hope that’s what you meant by “Post” an item…
you can also post a [Want It Now] and your request would be sent to millions of [Sellers] based on the [Category]…Health and Beauty;
subcategory Hair Care; and,
subcategory Hair Color…
depending on how refined your search is
