The difference in 2T & 24 months?
I have always bought my sons clothes for the next year on clearance. (Buying the winter stuff they are clearing out for next winter). He is 17 months old, and a little taller than most babies his age, but has been right on ‘target’ with the sizes to his age. He is inbetween a 12-18 months & 18-24 months right now. I don’t know what size to buy for him, the 24 months or the 2T for this time next year. Can any other mom’s give me an idea of what size fit your child, and the age & weight & height when it did? Thanks!
@Emma&…- No need to be rude about it! I typed in the question, and it gave me no previously answered questions similar to my answer, or I wouldn’t have even bothered asking.
Be careful buying too much in a bigger size at this point, my daughter was always right on or under the sizes for her age, however, now she is actually a size ahead (currently 2 wearing 3T) she is not overweight or anything, but she got tall so she needs the length of a 3T and as far as shirts go, there is so little difference in most 2t and 3t shirts that I usually just go with a 3t so it will fit a little bit longer. I would say definitely don’t get the 24m sizes for anything that is too warm, jeans and stuff like that that he can wear in the summer (when it’s not as hot) or fall would be ok though. As far as a coat if you can find a good deal I would get him at least a 3T.
