What exactly should I pack for my baby in the way of clothes for the hospital?
I know some hospitals provide clothes, but I will almost guarantee you mine doesn’t. (My hospital doesn’t even provide diapers or pads- NONE.) So I am packing everything she could possibly need. I have been warned that because of other health problems I may need to stay in the hospital for 5 days or thereabouts. It’s important I have the stuff on hand and ready because the hospital is 25 minutes from the house.
How many undershirts, hats, onesies, etc do you think I will need? She’s due March 4th.
The hospital gives you some complimentary things. I still packed a full diaper bag with diapers, sensitive wipes, pacifier, plenty of hats, undershirts and onesies.. Burp cloths are a necessity – BRING PLENTY! You probably won’t be there long unless there are complications. ((Which I highly doubt)) Bring two blankets.. You don’t have to overdo it at all. I brought enough for three days.
