why do i get sad and throw up when i realize that my babies r growing up and wont ever be babies again???
Im fine sometimes until I realize how much they are growing and then I start getting anxiety about the fact that they will never be babies again. I cry, n then I throw up n feel like that for a while then I snap out of it n it doesnt bother me at all, until the next time I have an “episode.” Is anyone else like this? How do you deal with it? Its bad enough that I cant even get rid of any of their baby clothes I feel to sad to do it. I still have their swings and all of their baby clothes. Theyr triplets by the way and will be 2 in September. And when theyr birthday is near I start to feel like this also! I know this has to be some kind of disorder but I NEED to know how to control and deal with it because it controls my life!
I don’t have kids, but I may have an explanation for you…your purpose in life is to be needed, and babies and small children need you-they cannot survive without you….once they grow up, they won’t need you anymore..and you are afraid that your purpose in life will end, leaving you alone, and depressed. you may feel that babies give you unconditional love that no one else can, when they grow up, you might be afraid of losing that love. Right now you are their world, and sounds like they are yours, but after they grow up, their world has to get bigger, and so does yours..I don’t have a solution for you, I just may know the cause……..accept reality, don’t fight it..relax.
