When shopping for baby/toddler clothes, what brands do you buy?
I buy from… Childerns Place, Baby Gap, Old Navy, stuff from Ross and Carters
What’s the most expenisve top or bottom or outfit you’ve bought your baby?
I want to buy my baby an outfit from Harajuku Lovers but its so expensive for something that will last for 4 months :[
We dont have Next here its a shame, but my husband is english so his family sends outfits from Next and ASDA
I’m in the UK… do you have Next in America? I get most of my son’s stuff from there… it’s generally about £9 – £12 for an average pair of trousers, £5 – £7 for a cotton t-shirt, £8 – £15 for nicer tops, £20 – £25 for a jacket, that sort of thing (for the up-to-5 range). So pretty mid-range. When he used to wear bodysuits and stuff I used to get them from Primark or a supermarket and get a pack of 7 for £5 or something as I never saw the point in spending much money on them. Occasionally I get stuff from Adams (sorry if you don’t know what any of these brands are!) which are pretty similar prices to Next, and whenever I’m in the city I try and pick up some bits from Baby Gap, but they don’t have one of those stores in the town where I usually shop. Very occasionally I’ve bought a Jasper Conran outfit for him, they’re gorgeous but don’t usually spend that much. I’ve bought second hand Ralph Lauren and similar a handful of times off Ebay.
The most expensive thing… I’m not really sure. Probably when I went to Liverpool I picked up some Beatles and other music memorabilia and got him some black ‘rock’ bodysuits which were all about £18-£20 each, which is a lot for a bodysuit, but I always put them on him with jeans and used them as tops on warmer days! The most expensive things I guess are coats and shoes – I think I’ve bought a couple of £30 coats and all his shoes now are £29 a pair which is ludicrous but I get them from Clarks, they’re not a label or anything but they’re the best for childrens shoes by far and I guess they’re important!
