Had a baby 5 months ago…i have just stopped losing weight?
I had my first baby boy ,he’s 5 months now…I had a c section ,i lost 22 pounds right after delivery.I started breastfeeding right away and still am pumping and feeding.I even started going to the gym after my 5 weeks check up…I lost a little bit after that but the last 2 months i have stopped dropping any pounds..i do not understand why..i still pump about 6 times a day ,go to the gym atleast 2-3 times a week…..what should i do? My old clothes are small and maternity clothes are too large..is there anything I can take (like natural tea’s to burn calories) cuz clearly whatever i’m doing is not helping.Ladies please advice.
I plan to stop breastfeeding in another month because i have started working and i see my milk quantity is getting lower..
You have reached a weight plateau….and it sucks!
Been there! Since you are going back to work those pounds
will shed a bit more…push a little more at the gym…(breastfeeding burns 500 calories a day, talk to your
lactation consultant about your concern)
Don’t forget that it took 9 mts to gain it and it will take a lil
while to loose! You a doing great , keep up the hard work!
