How do you super moms take care of tasks and chores around the home while having to tend to a little baby?
My baby is fed. I played with her today. I changed her diaper. Burped her. She is crying, but more like a whine-like cry because she wants more attention. I really want to play with her more, but the house is getting messy. I have clothes to wash, clothes to fold, cloth diapers to wash and stuff, dishes to do, a living to tidy up. a kitchen table to clear, papers to sort and shred for disposal. How do you moms take care of your home duties with a crying baby in the background? I feel so guilty doing my house work with her crying. But I can’t let this home get any more messy, even my husband has complained about it!
Any advice? Thanks in advance…
(Baby is 3 months and 1 week old by the way..my only child, husband works long hours, and we are new to this state. Don’t know anyone here yet!)
My baby is the same exact age! I wait until she is sleeping and take care of things around the house. If she’s not sleeping and I have things to do and she is fed and taken care of, I just put her in the bouncy vibrating seat and she’s pretty happy there for about 15 mins. Instead of your husband complaining, ask him to help out too! My husband is put to work especially on the weekends….lol. When he gets home, give him the baby and do what you have to do.
