If you buy baby clothes at Old Navy can you help me out?
Do the clothes run big, small or true-to-size. My little one is 11 mos old. She is starting to wear some size 18 mos. Old Navy has size 12-18mos and 18-24 mos……..not sure which size to buy.
IMO, Old Navy runs a little big around. If she’s just starting to wear 18 months, I’d buy 18 months. If you already have a ton of 18 month clothes, then buy a size up. I find that Old Navy tends to shrink/fade, so I don’t buy thinking it’s going to last forever (eg. roll the pants as capris and then they’ll be long pants later) because my kids are hard on clothes and the pants won’t look good 6 months later. Once my kids started walking and spring hits, we spend a lot of time outdoors/in parks/sandboxes and so I buy inexpensive play clothes for the size they’re in. That said, if it’s a great sale, I may buy the same thing in several sizes. I found a 3-in-1 convertible winter jacket (one of those with a waterproof layer with a fleece that zips inside) for $4.99 + 99 cent shipping at Walmart last year at an after season sale and bought it in three different colors in the next three sizes so my daughter has a new winter coat that looks different each year, but I got a great deal on it.
