Washable nursing pads advise?
I am trying to use the washable ones at night to save the disposable ones for the day to save me a little bit of money by making the box last longer.
It isn’t going so well. I seem to leak a bit more during the night so I wound up w/ huge wet spots below my breast (ice look ,I should have taken a picture). I even use 2 pads on each breast!
I bought 2 types: Kushies & Advent . . . both are fine but I just think I may have to give up!
I don’t like how bulking they are to wear during the day/out. You can VERY much see them.
Also, how do you wash them . . . I did them w/ my baby clothes load but the Kushies did not dry well and had to be flattened out. Ugh.

BTW, I do put them in a bag . . . the Advent came w/ one.
You should try the nursing pads at this website. They are cloth and work great. The layer next to your breast is really soft flannel and the inside layers are cotton, really absorbant. You can even get extra layers so they are thicker. If you buy the giftpack of 6 pads then all the extra layers are free. PLUS they are really cute! http://BabyOReally.etsy.com
You should be washing them in a bag, or even handwashing and lay flat to dry or put in the dryer on low heat. OH and don’t use fabric softener, it makes them not absorb as well.
