Does anyone else feel like children’s clothes are overpriced?
You know, those darling little outfits by Janie and Jack, Kelly’s kids, Strausburg, Good Lad, Imp, CHocolate soup, Gymboree, the childrens place and baby gap? Yes they are darling. But really? $28 for a pair of 12-18 months pants? $40 for a sweater?
Its excessive. I can’t believe people pay retail for it.
I will admit, my son wears all those brands, but I found them by fastidiously combing yard sales, thrift stores and E bay.
Parents who pay retail, does it make you cringe to fork over that capitol knowing it will be worn for less then a year in most instances? Or are you ok with getting gently used second hand things?
I KNOW! i was looking for baby blue jeans the other day and i saw a website that had them for like $28 dollars..i was “are you kidding?!” babies grow out of stuff so fast,its not worth it and you wont see me pay retail. i get my baby clothes from walmart and second hand stores.babies dont care about name brands and all that..im gonna save some money now because im having a little girl,and i know i will be spending so much money when shes a teenager ha!
