Gift for friend’s newborn baby?
My friend in France just had a baby boy, he’s about 1 month old now. I know nothing about babies, baby stuff, whats hip or hot in the baby scene. Can anyone recommend a a gift for me to send her?
I was thinking some little item of clothing, maybe a bib or jumper kinda thing? Is there a articular brand that people are loving, or store with cute designs?
I would call her and ask what she needs. I ended up with a ton of bibs, washcloths and blankets. It is hard to tell what a mom has without seeing the baby’s room.
Rather than clothes, I would do something that would last a little longer. some baby toys are good for multiple stages (i am on a little kick right now, my baby is just now seeming like she is interested). Lamaze seems like a good brand here, there are black and white elements for early vision and bright colors for later plus there are parts for teething and learning.
I have been telling people to buy books. I like to read to my little one, plus the books will be good for years to come. Try buying something you loved when you were little. I find that I love items that remind me of when I was little, I like the idea of sharing that experience with my daughter.
