Just discovered my indoor cat has fleas, and I’m pregnant! Help!?
Any suggestions? I’m very worried about this since I’m pregnant. How can I get rid of them? How to get them out of clothing, slipcovers, bedding, etc? What about from hardwood floors? We were going to give the cat back to my mom (not because of the fleas, and yes we’d wait until the cat was cleaned first), would this prevent the fleas from coming back? What dangers, if any, would be to me or the baby from bites or even accidental swallowing of them or the eggs. I know, I sound like a worried pregnant lady! Please be kind with your advice…Thank you!!!
FIRST OF ALL DO NOT USE VINEGAR. IT WILL HARM THE CAT. TRY USING FRONTLINE, OR ADVANTAGE SPOT ON. THIS WILL BREAK THE CYCLE AND KILL THEM. JUST BE A BIT CAREFUL ABOUT USING IT, AS YOU ARE PREGNANT, BUT I DON’T THINK IT WILL HARM YOU. I HAVE 5 CATS SO I NO WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT.
