My baby’s clothes are shipped from US thru USPS Priority Intnl Mail. How can I chk if its cleared customs?
The trcking website says its shipped from US already, no updates beyond that? Cn anyone hlp me, how can I get more info from Indian post. This parcel is supposed to reach bangalore. Has anyone tried this service? How safe is it? I ave paid 50$ for shipping.. Hoping it to b safe n secure … Help !!!!!!
Once it leaves the US, you can try tracking at the India Post website. You could also try to contact your Customs Service. Once out of the US, there isn’t anything that USPS can do.
If it never arrives, your sender can make a claim for reimbursement under the built in Indemnity that is included with Priority Mail International.
There is one restriction that may cause you a problem. I found this in the list of restrictions that is provided to USPS by India Customs.
Piece goods and certain manufactured articles must be marked to show country of origin as prescribed by the Indian trademark regulations.
If the articles of clothing do not have this, they may be seized in Customs.
