my son is 5 1/2 months is this ok food wise for him
wake 6oz bottle
breakfast baby porridge made with 3-4oz formula and 2oz formula from the bottle
lunch 4oz formula pureed veg and a yogurt
after big nap 4-5oz bottle
tea 3oz formula and veg
bed bottle 6-8oz
Is he getting enough milk.He was started on solids at 4 months he was ready he is 20lbs and long he is just about the go into 9-12 month clothes cause he so long!!! his sister is 2 1/2 and in age 12-18 months lol !
what finger food could he have at this age
he’s not fat he’s on the 98th line for lenght and he crys for his food.He’s long and not fat.babies only take what they need
hey he sounds tall my 10 month old is only 18 pounds but in the 75% for height so I always get the reverse of you oh he is to skinny .. people are just rude every baby is different.. any way I started my son at 4 months as well and I think he was having about the same as your guy but breast feed so who knows how much he was taking in milk wise. @ 6 months we introduced fingers food and what ever food we ate which made it much easier just minus the salt and if you like hot food tone it down a tad ( but the rule is – told by my HV) if you ate it while he was in the womb he will be used to it. so it was weetbix with fruit and sandwiches and then what ever we had for dinner the night before .. after this he started weaning himself off the breast to the point of just 2 feeds a day at 8.5 months ( I think its meant to be around 9 months they should be on two feeds). That’s when I switched to formula and he only drinks 8 oz in the morning 5 oz at night and as of 12 months I will replace that with cows milk as he already has a glass of cows milk a day as he hates cheese and I needed to get more calcium in him.
