how many of you had small (full term) babies?
are they still petite?
my daughter was 6lbs 11oz at birth and 19.5 inches long. shes now 4 month old and other than her chipmunk cheeks shes really skinny and tall (well her torso is really long) her daddy is 6’5″ so shes probably gonna be tall and skinny no matter what. but shes just now starting to wear the 03-month clothes well, except shes already a little too long for them! lol, so shes gonna have to wear her clothes baggy just to fit her length!! and shes still in size 1 diapers, but we are about to move to size 2 because the size 1s are getting too short.
she was 12lbs at 3 months and 23.5 inches long, she goes for her 4 month appointment next week so im assuiming she weighs between 13-14lbs.
how old is your baby? did they stay skinny and lean, or did they become chunky eventually?
oh and she was born at 39weeks 5days.
I had my little girl at 41 weeks and she weighed 6 pounds15.5 ounces, 21 inches long. Shes now 2 months and weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces and is a little over 23 inches so we have the problem with things being too long also. Shes still in newborn diapers and can fit into both newborn and 0-3…I’m hoping she gains a little bit more weight here soon, but when she was born she went all the way down to 6 pounds 4 ounces within the first week and a half.
