Where can I buy cheap solid colored onesies, bibs, t-shirts, caps, etc?
I’m throwing a baby shower where each guest will be decorating different articles of clothing for the baby in fabric markers… but I dont want to spend a fortune. Solid white or light blue, yellow or green cottons should do. Anyone know where I can get these online? I’ve already tried Target – they do 5/pk onesies for $8.99 and thats great, but they dont sell basic bibs or long sleeve bodysuits… Wal-Mart has t-shirts, but only for 0-3 months… I’m looking for baby basics in all sizes 0-24 months.
Any ideas?
I did this for a friend’s baby shower and the fabric and markers ended up drying really rough so the mom to be never was able to feel comfortable using them. It’s still a fun idea even if it won’t be used later – so I say stick to the cheap stuff since you won’t be using them – dollar stores are best. Baby’s r’ us had a lot of plain white bibs. I stenciled a letter on each and used big wooden pins from the dollar store and created a banner w/ baby’s name. good luck!
