The Three Main Men’s t-Shirts Styles
Most men have at least a few dress
ed hardy t-shirts
hanging in the closet. These shirts should fit into one of three styles:
Athletic Fit – This style of shirt is generally suited to men with a slimmer build, it is a shirt that is tapered much more dramatically than the modern fit. The athletic fit shirt is a staple of designer brands such as Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss and is typically carried by retail clothing sellers such as Superdry. These shirts are suited for going out to a club or bar, but they also work as a sharp business shirt for thinner men. A modern or classic fit shirt may look too baggy on a thin man, and so athletic fit can be substituted. It can really give your outfit an urban edge and suits modern aesthetics quite well.
Modern Fit – As the name suggests modern fit shirts are a more current fashion style. They are great for formal events or at the office, and also ideal for clubbing and fine dining at restaurants. It is a tapered shirt in what is commonly known as the “semi-fitted” style, it looks especially good on men with average builds, who are not very skinny but the not overweight either. This style of ed hardy t-shirt is rising quickly in popularity and lends a smooth, strong outline to the body. It is often preferred by young professionals.
Classic Fit – This is the traditional men’s dress shirt, found in department stores and men’s retailers across the country. Though this design has long dominated the market, it has seen a decline in recent years with the introduction of the modern fit into the department store and discount locations. With almost no tapering, wholesale ed hardy t-shirts is much roomier and more comfortable then the other designs. There is definitely more freedom of movement with this shirt, making it a popular choice for men who have a larger build. Despite its drop in popularity, it still remains the best option for the big and tall man or someone who may need a more formal appearance.
If you are having a tough time deciding which style of shirt looks best on you, then go with the classic fit, which looks good on any body type. Do not be afraid to try on one of the other styles though – it is always good to experiment and you may find out that they suit you better.
